Dora & Vasili
There’s something so refreshing about a design that’s simple and pretty. No frills, nothing over the top, just letting the words and the design speak for themselves. I’m happy to show off Dora and Vasili’s wedding suite.
Taken at the photoshoot last weekend, Akins and I found a crooked, beat up picnic table to be the perfect background to showcase this suite. And the perfectly accented calla lilies by Amy brought everything to life.
Dora and Vasili asked for understated elegance for their invitation and particularly wanted a white calla lily. They are getting married in Greece in just a few short weeks, and while we were thinking bold Grecian patterns to create a statement, I think this works wonderfully too. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in bold, bright colors and creating big statement, this set makes me remember that simple is just as beautiful.
Congratulations to the love birds! I can’t wait to feature their Behind the Design later this summer.

Flawless and spectacular, of course. I can ALWAYS trust your instincts.
Thanks Jason! And thanks for always trusting my instincts :)
Pretty pretty! The photos are perfect. I LOVE the stamps :)
Thanks Jenna. I usually do much bolder design, so sometimes it’s nice to go back to simple.
I really like the stamps- something about multiple stamps to me says “vintage and classic.” so elegant!
They are so fun. If you ever are in the need for them, I got those from the Paper Nickel Stamp Co. Awesome site!
